Daystar Skill Acquisition Programme (DSAP) released her
14th set of young, skillful entrepreneurs at a befitting
graduation ceremony which held inside the church’s Main
Auditorium, Plot A3C, Ikosi Road, Oregun Ikeja, Lagos.
In its 14th session, DSAP graduated a total of 580
beneficiaries, having trained them in different crafts
including Fashion Design, Makeup, Photography, Web-
Design, Graphics, Sewing, Generator Repairs, Shoemaking,
Beads-Making, Cake-Making, Pastries and Drinks, Hair
making, Event Decoration and the likes.
Addressing the newly released graduands on behalf of the
senior pastor, associate pastor of the church, Pastor Grace
Ofili admonished participants to maximize their newly
acquired skills and use it to add value and leverage for
success while seeking to improve on what they have learnt.
“Always strive towards further development and aim at
being the very best in your chosen field. What you learn is
what determines what you earn,” She said. The passionate
coordinator of DSAP, Mrs. Toyin Olusola and the entire
team were also commended for a job well done.
Reminiscing about his experience at the just concluded
programme, Toye Adekoya, one of the newly trained
Graphics designers said “I came here not knowing anything
about Graphics, but now I can design so many things as I’ve
learnt a lot. Really, words can’t express my appreciation
but, all the same, I’ll say God bless Daystar.”
According to Toye who couldn’t contain his excitement, “It
was a great experience and the facilitator was very good.
After this two weeks training, I can now go out there and
confidently work on any design brief. I intend to take this
to the next level and I’d love to say a big thank you to
Pastor Sam Adeyemi for this great opportunity.”
