TBN celebrates America's Independence


LOS ANGELES (July 2, 2014) — It has been one of America's most cherished holidays for nearly 240 years — and one of its most
important. On the Fourth of July, Independence Day, Americans from all walks of life will stop to celebrate the blessing of liberty that has defined their nation since its founding.

And on July 3rd and 4th Trinity Broadcasting Network , America's most-watched faith-and- family channel, will host a patriotic and inspirational program lineup to help individuals and families celebrate this unique American holiday — and to reflect on the spiritual heritage that has sustained America
throughout many generations.

“Over the past forty-plus years, TBN has been a clarion voice calling individuals and families to the faith that has long made
America a shining model for the rest of the world,” said TBN CEO Matthew Crouch. “As our nation celebrates its independence, we're honored to offer a great lineup of programs that will inspire our viewers concerning America’s heritage of faith and freedom.”

Here are just a handful of the great shows on TBN's holiday schedule:

– Monumental: In Search of America's Secret Treasure. Hosted
and produced by Kirk Cameron, this exciting documentary takes
viewers across Europe and the U.S. in search of the people, places, and principles that made America the freest, most prosperous, and most generous nation the world has ever known. Airs July 3rd ( check here for broadcast times).

– America, One Nation . This inspirational special takes a look at
the greatness of America and why, now more than ever, we need

The Influence of the Bible on America. The Bible has shaped and
informed every aspect of America's society from government, law, and education, to our business practices, our views of private property, our outreach to the needy, and much more. 

This inspiring program documents the dramatic impact the Bible has had on American life and culture over the past four centuries. Airs July 3rd and 4th (check here for broadcast times).

– Spiritual Heritage of the U.S. Capitol. Noted historian David
Barton offers a breathtaking tour through the U.S. Capitol,
highlighting the rich spiritual heritage that permeates this stately
edifice built over 200 years ago. Airs July 4th (check here for

-- Can Prayer Change America? Featuring interview with top
Christian leaders, this sobering documentary analyzes the present plight of our nation in light of Scripture, and shows how concerted intercession by God’s people can help return America to wholeness and faith. Airs July 4th (check here for broadcast
